Prior Experience/Licensure Is Not Required
168 Hours Of Real Estate Courses Must Be Satisfactorily Completed Before Taking The Real Estate Exams If The Applicant Has No Prior Experience Or Education
If The Applicant Has Some Prior Experience Or Education They Will Receive A Prorated Number Of Required Courses
Pass The Real Estate Exams
Apply For License Within 1 Year From Date Of Passing The Real Estate Examination

2 Years Of Active Experience
After Licensing They May Be Self-Employed Or Employed By An Employing Broker Or Be Inactive
Colorado Associate Brokers Are Not Required To Have Any Further Classes, These Applicants Just Need To Pass The Real Estate Exams
Licensed Applicants From Other States Receive A Prorated Number Of Required Courses And Also Need To Pass The Real Estate Exams
