The Requirements For A Real Estate Salesperson License In Missouri Include:
Being At Least 18 Years Of Age
Fulfilling One Of The Following Requirements:
Successfully Completing A 60-Hour Salesperson Course From An Approved Real Estate School
Be A Licensed Attorney
Be Granted A One-Time Sitting For The Real Estate Examinations By The Commission
Qualify For A One-Time Sitting For The Examinations By Being Actively Licensed In Another State As Either A Salesperson Or Broker For At Least 12 Of The Immediately Preceding 18 Months
Applying For Their Real Estate License Within Six Months Of Completing The School Requirements

Either Having Passed The Salesperson Examination OR Having A Current Salesperson License In Missouri
Fulfilling 1 Of The Following:

Have An Active Missouri Salesperson License For 12 Of The Last 18 Months
Be A Licensed Attorney
Be Granted A One-Time Sitting For The Examination By The Commission
Qualify For A One-Time Sitting For The Broker Real Estate Examinations By Being Actively Licensed As A Broker In Another State For 12 Of The Preceding 18 Months
Applying For Their Real Estate License Within Six Months Of Completing The School Requirements
Missouri Real Estate License Renewal/Continuing Education Requirements
All Real Estate Broker Licenses Expire On June 30th Of Even Numbered Years, And All Salesperson Licenses Expire On September 30th Of Even Numbered Years.
Missouri Non-Resident Applicant Requirements For Licensure
All Nonresident Applicants Need To Either Complete The Missouri Salesperson Examination Or Hold A Current Missouri Salesperson License In Order To Obtain A Missouri Broker License. If The Nonresident Applicant Is Not Licensed In Another State, He/She Must Take The Approved Missouri Pre-License Course And Complete Both Parts Of The Real Estate Exams. The Requirements For Having Part Or All Of The Real Estate Exams Waived Varies Depending On How Long The Applicant Has Been Licensed In The Other State.
Once Licensed In Missouri, The Non-Resident Agent Needs To Successfully Complete A Specific 12-Hour Missouri Real Estate Practice Course Through A Missouri Approved Education Provider, Prior To The Renewal Of The License.
