If It Ain't Fun, Don't Do It!

How many of us think about what we love every day? Not many. I don't know many real estate agents who don't love some part of the business. It really is required if you're going to make it in the business at all. Let's face it, it's a hard business - if you don't love it, it's totally not worth it.

Love It More
But here's the more important question for you. Is there a way you could love it more? Are there things you are doing that you don't love? And, if so, can you think of ways to outsource those activities so that you don't have to do them anymore?

Be Creative
And are there things you love to do in your personal life that you could bring into your business to make it more enjoyable for you? For instance, let's say that you love to paint. Couldn't you take a painting class and see if you can find some new business while you're there meeting new people? Or perhaps you could paint a picture of a house and include it in your next ad. Then you could write off the costs of your paint, etc. too!

Include Your Passion
Perhaps your passion is personal growth. Couldn't you offer a seminar about how the process of moving affects your sense of self and how it's an opportunity to grow? Or you could sponsor a seminar on Feng Shui and use it as a way to get your past clients to come out and socialize (and maybe bring a few friends to introduce to you).

Make It Fun!
So today I want you to think about how you can build more fun into your day. It will certainly make life more entertaining and it might even make it more profitable.
